We had spent most of the Christmas season avoiding activities and experiences that involved snow as we live in Australia and experience a fairly hot Christmas. Thanks to Daddy's Aunty and Uncle we have the Jacquie Lawson Advent Calendar that we use on the computer each morning. On day 2 of the Advent calendar the activity was to make a snowman. Cakes enjoyed this so much that each day when we watch the next video or complete the next activity she makes a new snowman. She has shown so much interest in this so I decided we should watch the Frosty the Snowman that has played on television every year since I can remember. As Cakes doesn't watch very much television and struggles to make it through an entire movie (unless at the cinema) I thought popcorn would be the perfect thing to keep her eyes on the screen as she focuses on her mouth. I saw these super easy and super cute snowman popcorn cups on Pinterest and thought I should give it a go. Now she knows the story of Frosty the Snowman and has had her very own snowman. After the popcorn was all gone the cups turned into real frosty snowman as Cakes decided they needed to be filled with ice (her favourite 'food').

Thanks everyone. Hannah, I hope your daughter got through the movie you wanted to watch with her. Have you tried any of the shorter Christmas ones, such as Ice Age, Shrek, etc?

The snowman cups are really cute and kids will love these cups. I used to buy teddy bear shaped mugs, plates etc for my son so that he will have enough food without showing any reluctant. Such fancy plates can trap the children and they enjoy having food with them.
